Your 3-Day Retreat Journey:

Day 1: Connect ~ Activate your ancient remembrance and anchor in your light

• Welcoming you to Navan Fort Yurt, we take time to settle into this sacred space and our intentions for this retreat.

• Walk the Sacred Lands of the hidden gem of Emain Macha – Navan Fort, Armagh with Petra, Shamanic Energy Healer and Steward of Navan Fort, to share the sacred stories of these magical lands. The royal seat of Ulster and mythology.

• Evening walk up the hill to Kings Stables and on to Navan Fort, treading the old route, the first road in Ireland. Reverse the curse contained on the mound which was built to hold in the curse.

• Gather at Hockeys Fort which pre-dates Navan Fort by 800 years.

• Immerse yourself in ancient Herstory whilst healing the rift of separation along the north/south divide.

• Bring your instruments, bring your drums and singing bowls to commune with these lands.

Day 2: Play ~ Immersive Theatre Pilgrimage to The Giants Causeway & Beaghmore Stone Circles

• Travel by private coach to The Giants Causeway, County Antrim: walk in the footsteps of the ancient giants and awaken your Druidic Bard who cast the rainbow bridge from Ireland to Scotland for us to follow.

• Wash away what no longer serves in the wild waters of the North sea.

• Connect to molten basalt rock and sacred geometry.

• Cheryl will soul guide you to listen to stories from the lands and speak your own sacred poetry, as this was how the great Oracle Bards weaved their words on these sacred Irish shores. 

• Be an open channel ready to receive your own soul stories.

• Stop off on the way home at The Beaghmore Stone Circle, County Tyrone: Connect to the stars and the Pleiades at this magical arrangement of 7 stone circles and 1,269 stones!

Day 3: Integrate ~ Soul Retrieval & Integration

• Back at Navan Fort Yurt, we focus on aspects of self that wish to rage, release and reverse the curse placed by Macha horse goddess.

• Call your soul parts home connected to these lands.

• Eimear will share stories of Ireland and of these lands.

• Clear the colonial wounds along the ley lines by raising the vibration on these lands.

• This area is steeped in Irish Mythology of Cú Chulainn from the Ulster Cycle, who was the greatest of the Red Branch Knights. What about his mythical wife Eimear? She joins us to share HerStory for these times!

• Lughnasadh Fire Ceremony: release your intentions into the fire with rose petals and flowers.

What to bring & other criteria:

• Suitable waterproof clothing, waterproof shoes and layers to wear since the August weather in Northern Ireland is unpredictable!!

• Sessions are held inside and outdoors since walking the land is an integral part of this retreat.

• A reasonable level of fitness is required to walk the lands around Navan Fort and The Giant’s Causeway.

Navan Fort / Emain Macha is a most sacred site. One of the Royal Sites of Ireland, Navan Fort was successful in being accepted onto Ireland’s new World Heritage Tentative List in 2022.

Ireland’s Voice – Éiriú

Ireland is a place of much magic, mystery and mysticism. A placed steeped in ancient lore, magnificent scenery and sacred sites galore. A place that people yearn to visit and when they do, the rush of emotions that they experience when they step foot on these lands takes their breath away. Oral lore, archaeology, an abundance of mythology, ancient texts and relics preserved, hidden gems, Ireland most certainly represents the emerald crystalline heart.

Fairy beings are respected; sacred trees protected and Her raw wildness remains untouched in many areas. Perched on the edge of Europe, she remains connected to Atlantis through the wild Atlantic oceans and also has a beautiful peaceful Lemurian feel. She retains fragments of Tara, that ancient planet that was exploded in cosmic wars. She remembers when peace reigned upon these lands and knows this peace will return.

However, Her magic has been exploited. She has experienced great hungers through enforced famine, battles, bloodshed and death upon her primordial body. Her divine gifts, because of their precious nature, have been the reason for her colonial history, not just over the centuries but over millennia. Her abundant riches have been harvested, stolen by those who do not care about ecological longevity. Her children have been evicted to colonies on and off planet and force bred for their divine royal Celtic DNA.

Her emerald heart is cracked open now.

Raw from the ravages of history and at the same time, ready to be honestly witnessed, held and healed.

2024 is the year of The Truth Revealed.

Tourists flock to these lands in search of their heritage. To find their roots. To connect with their ancient Irish, Celtic, Druid ancestry. It’s very welcomed.

There is another side to Ireland that often goes unnoticed, is hidden in plain sight or is ignored.

A side that is simmering beneath the surface, lurking in the shadows, waiting. This is the rift, the fractures that have been caused by eons of harvesting, suppression, enslavement and banishment.

The witch persecution didn’t play out like it did in the UK, Europe and beyond. However colonialism played out in major ways resulting in a present day rift.

Macha held powerful gifts, one being she was able to run faster than any horse in Ireland. Her supernatural abilities were put to the test when her secret gift was revealed, it led to her demise. Or, put another way, in revealing her powerful gift, the result was her death. This is a wound within our collective consciousness where many feel unsafe to reveal their gifts and speak their truths. In Macha’s honour, she is the inspiration to unfurl and unravel her story to strengthen your foundations to speak your soul truth.

Macha’s curse and her final cry is viscerally felt within our every cell as children of post-colonial Ireland and Britain.

Eimear Stassin

Eimear Stassin is a Seanachaí / an Irish sacred storyteller. As a spoken word orator, she carries on the traditions of both her matrilineal and patrilineal Irish lineages as story weaver, poet and crafter of the true lore.

Eimear’s mission is activating the remembrance in souls and awakening cellular wisdom through sacred storytelling, weaving and speaking ancient truth.

There are several stories of Goddess Witch Macha in Irish Mythology. The one that most moved Eimear became the inspiration for this retreat, where Macha was forced to race the kings horses. A story that we will elaborate on during our time together.

Ultimately, Macha’s cry and the curse that she cast upon the men of Ulster ignited a desire within Eimear to help heal the lasting rift that keeps humanity separated from each other and from their soul truth - with a particular focus on her native Ireland.

Eimear leads the way for you to come home to your true self as a voice for Ireland / Éiriú.

Cheryl Prince

Cheryl Prince is a spiritual actress, writer, multidimensional medium and creatrix of 5D Theatre. Cheryl created 5D Theatre to use storytelling as a powerful portal for healing and soul activism and to offer soul story guidance for my tribe.  

Cheryl had the calling from her soul many moons ago that one day she would return to Ireland and the Giant’s Causeway to retrieve her lifetime as an ancient Bard, roaming the land and speaking the sacred texts, the poetry that brought healing, wisdom and activation to the community.  Her belief is that this was passed through soul seekers, oracles and bards, perhaps you are one of the sacred speakers waiting to find your words, your soul story?

Together we will activate ourselves on these lands and bring back the sacred voice, a great healing and soul retrieval and find our own stories, for this is how sacred theatre is created in this magical age.

Petra Carroll

Petra Carroll is Shamanic Energy Medicine Healer.

Petra knows this land intimately with her rooted connection extending along her matrilineal lineage. Indigenous to Navan Fort, Petra extends a very warm welcome to her home and gardens where our Yurt venue is situated. This is a very peaceful and serene space just off the oldest road in Ireland.

In early 2023 Petra was part of a group that setup the Navan Fort and Area Heritage Group which is “a group formed by the community to advocate for the protection and preservation of the Navan Fort and surrounding Area” so that the significance of this site remains prominent in the hearts and minds of the people of Ireland and beyond.

You’re welcome into Petra’s home for a cup of tea and snacks throughout our time at Navan Fort Yurt as well as availing of her bathroom facilities which are over-lit by Elvis himself!
